SHADOWDRONE “Artifacts: 2004-05” is a collection of bedroom recordings, sound collages, exploratory aural experiments, and other manipulations from EIN SOF GOYLE of DISTORTURE. Goyle went on to record with WHOA HEY WHAT THE FUCK?!, RUE D’AUSEIL, and later LE CHEMIN NOIR. These recordings are best suited for headphones and show the progression from early experimentation and sound collage into the darker and more sophisticated sound of Le Chemin Noir.

∆ 1am † LAKE R▲DIO
This pet project of 20 year old Illinois native Caden Moore was done as an exploration into the “darker” realm of music and himself. Prior to forming LAKE R▲DIO, Caden sang and played guitar in Heavy Ghost (for whom he still plays) and sometimes released solo stuff under the name The Sky Operator. Citing dreams as the biggest driving force for LAKE R▲DIO, it’s no wonder his songs have an other-worldly charm, an inverse familiarity like hearing or seeing in a dream. 
Almost all of LAKE R▲DIO’s samples come from VHS recordings, cassette tapes, some vinyl and even YouTube videos which help explain the well worn and even sinister intimacy all of the songs possess. In many ways for Caden, his LAKE R▲DIO songs are almost reincarnations of audio that had once existed in a new body of sound.

Coming from an extremely wide set of influences, their music is its own unique blend of slow and menacing conjurations.
Generally connected with the ‘drag‘ and ‘witchhouse‘ genres, ΔAIMON uses unconventional sound-design and tension within often pop oriented song structures to instill unnerving sensations.

Preteen Pornstar is an art group that started in 2002 when a group of people who enjoyed analog synthesizers and synthesized analgesics felt the very human need to become a collective entity and choose a name.
Over the next 4 years the project solidified through live shows in South and North California into a core group of permanent members with more or less steady roles, and a cloud of 40 or so occasional collaborators. Preteen has performed at clubs, art galleries, hotels, and an orgy. Shows vary between 15 minutes with one performer, and 10 hours with over 50.
Since 2002, the project has put out 5 ‘normal’ full length albums, as well as a scattering of other releases including remixes, s3m kits, found audio tapes, and an illustrated children’s book.
The only consistent threads are that any Preteen work must feature at least one of the core members, and must be available for free online. All releases of the project are available on either direct download or through bit torrent.
While Preteen has generally left the themes of their work open to interpretation by others, we do want to make one point clear: absolutely none of it is done for shock value. The pieces that can be misinterpreted as such in reality only take something we view as normal or at least acceptable, remove its mitigating context, and show it back to us.

Textbeak has always straddled the line between experimental industrial and dance with his releases on labels such as TVNDA DVBS (San Francisco), Lasergun (Berlin), Bleak (Vienna), Vaatican Records (France), Xynthetic (Canada), Time Theory, 21/22 Corp, Swishcotheque (UK), Colin Johnco (France), Amduscias, Audiotie (Germany), Politicide (Germany), and co-owns the Philtre Com imprint with co-conspirator Claus Muzak. His band Bath was featured on the “Why Be Blake When You Can Be Bleak?” compilation on the Bleak label with experimental industrial veterans Coil, Attrition, SLEEPCHAMBER, Nocturnal Emissions, and Portion Control. He also is in the projects WEEP THE PEOPLE (with Claus Muzak and Ben Jones Like Whoa) and 1954 (with poet and stencil artist Eric Alleman, Robert Nagy aka Voctave, and deceased artist Jason Adams aka AGATE). His artwork was featured in the Necessary Discomforts tribute to Rozz Williams (Christian Death, Shadow Project, Premature Ejaculation) at the Hyaena Gallery in LA. From the early ‘90s Columbus, Ohio rave scene, when he was a member of Body Release with Titonton Duvante (Residual Records), Todd Sines (Frankie, Planet E, Peacefrog, YORE), and Charles Noel (aka ARCHETYPE, ARCH_TYP…21/22 Corp, Bag Pak), through the mid ’90s early 2000’s with his band Bath, to his current endeavors, he has always pushed the envelope with his compositions, artwork, text collages, and genre-blasting DJ sets.
