Skelllie Bat is perhaps one of Detroit’s best kept secrets. Her nostalgic sets strongly appeal to the vintage connoisseur with a library that extends from old school goth, post-punk and death rock to 80s darkwave and industrial. Skellie Bat is one half of Detroit’s elusive industrial juggernaut Terror Network and a † BL▲CK M▲SS † veteran, so get ready for an unforgettable dark retrospective.

Nominated this year as one of Detroit’s best electronic/industrial bands at the Detroit Music Awards, the energetic power trio D:Konstruct first had its beginnings in 1999, when project founder Robert Vandergriff, lead vocalist and song writer, moved to Michigan in search of musicians to form an industrial music project. Over the years, the project morphed from the more industrial sounds of the past to the catchy electro dance music they make today. Eventually, Robert hooked up with Jon Yowell (drummer) from Oppfor and Mike Phipps (keyboardist and backing vocalist) from Pulse State.

Jaysen Craves has been bringing the ultra-heavy beat to † BL▲CK M▲SS † since it’s inception. Co-conspirator of † BL▲CK M▲SS † and Owlcave Records, Jaysen Craves has established a reputation for heart pounding aggrotech and industrial sets. Jaysen Craves is also one half of the Detroit-based industrial powerhouse Terror Network, who has recently been blowing minds and speakers all over mid-Michigan and Detroit.

Dæmon Nihil has been operating clandestinely in Lansing for over 10 years. Founder of Owlcave Records and † BL▲CK M▲SS † events, Dæmon Nihil has also performed live and recorded with Lansing industrial legends Tetanus, Rue d’Auseil, and Le Chemin Noir. Dæmon Nihil is always at the razor’s edge of dark electronic, bringing the newest and most underground dark spectrum music to the dance floor. Blending electro-industrial, darkwave, EBM, techno, and witch house into an energetic, hard hitting, and sinister sound.

Lansing/Chicago native PaNda currently based in Lansing is a frequent guest DJ at † BL▲CK M▲SS † SUND▲Y. His sets are often eclectic, weaving a dark range of emotions that take you through the various soundscapes that he sews together almost like a story unfolding from inside your own skin. A sexy, tragic story that will lead you hopelessly to the dancefloor where you will irresistibly move your body seemlessly with your peers as though you were all one, like a forest embracing the luminous magick of the night.
∆ 12a † WHERE THE EMBERS FALL
The founding members of Where the Embers Fall met in Detroit, MI and formed their project in 2004. They combine different styles of electronic music, including Gothic/Darkwave and elements of Industrial. It is an expression of personal experiences, struggles, and life changing events in an effort to find inner balance and meaning within them. The recent release of their debut Album, True Fate, is now available in both CD and digital format.
